About

Johanne Ampe (°1993) works multidisciplinary, she is a visual artist, scenographer and illustrator. With her diverse work she touches on various subjects. Vulnerability, intimacy and alienation are recurring themes. She works with pencil and charcoal on paper and makes scale models. Inspired by the banal, she explores the boundary between reality and alienation. Architectural and physical aberrations are central to the work of Johanne Ampe.
